Another thing about this company is that they don’t care about any complaints you have made about other employees if they are making the company money they look over it and ignore your complaint. Over all the pay is good if you get your sales. You are forced to sign a write up when you get a bad survey when you’ve done everything right your still punished which costs you your job. upper management doesn’t understand how it is to be on the frontline everyday getting cursed out and verbally abused. Cspire service is horrible which makes customers upset and they reflect it in a survey which you get docked for. you constantly get a write up for surveys you have no control over. This company does not care about employees at all hence the name customer inspired. Also I was one of the top salespeople in the state for 2 years so I was not an under performer. I spent 3 years trying to move up and become a great asset for the company just to realize how garbage of a company C Spire truly is. Most months this resulted in a $1,000 loss for the average retail employee. If you get a poor survey which is anything less than a 10, even if it from the customer having poor service in the country, you will have a low NPS score and will lose bonuses. Corporate holds its employees responsible for surveys regardless of the reason. Employees in a retail environment are treated like children who do not know how to function properly even though you take classes and train like crazy. I have worked in several positions within the company from a retail associate to working for corporate. You cannot be promoted unless you are friends with a higher up in the company or have connections with a corporate employee regardless of your education or experience. Between micromanaging and poor leadership it is a very difficult workplace. C Spire was a company which I saw a future with but slowly came to learn how awful the operations of the company are.
